ok im going to build a 351 for my stang but im a newbie at 351's so dont make too much fun of me! lol

first of all, can i use anything off my 302? and what kinda intakes do i have to shoose from? and heads? its going to be EFI

and what kinda hp can i get out of one on a budget?

most everything is interchange able except for the intake. its wider since the taller deck which is the only difference b/w the 302 and 351 block.

Oil pan (and pick-up),distributor,possably oil pump,head bolts,balance is differant but I believe the balancer it fits on the snout (only for 50oz ext. balance witch I will say %99 you wont ever see),and internals.Along with the intake as mentioned,thous are the piece that wont fit from the 302.

thanks alot guys for all the info!! do you all think a 351 maybe make it a 408 swap is a good idea?

yes the 408 swap would be a awesome idea. and look at the stickey there is info on the complete 351w swap.
