I've never heard of an original Cleveland in a 69 unless he would be thinking about the BOSS 302. It is more of a hybrid though. Yes they did put some 351 Windors in 1970's.

the 351w was available in the mustang from 1969 through 1973. the 351c was available from 1970-1973.

I thought I read where the 351W was used in early model 69 and changed over to the 351C late 69 model year. I'm sure you could still order the 351W late 69 but I coul dbe wrong.

well, let me tell you guys, i got into an argument (civilized) with Kevin Marti over this very thing and i was proven very wrong. apparently he not only has the production records for the cars but also for the engines and he also has the internal ford invoices for engine shipments to the various assembly plants and his records all indicate that was never a 351c installed in a 69 from the factory. apparently there were quite a few installed as warranty replacements though.
