Hi everyone, I've posted a 351C question earlier and thanks to everyone who replied
however after days of looking at stuff from all over I'm still not sure as to what exact set of heads I have on this thing.
Having the engine still in, and only partially apart ( Some top end ) this is what I got so far.
D2AE-CA-0 block, which my books tell me is a 72 351C Cobra Jet, some books say it doesn't have to be CJ and that this casting was used for regular 351C. ?? can't get at the casting date........ yet. but can see 3518 near block casting, any ideas?
I think that this thing has been Frankenstined I am just trying to get it figured out.
Now the heads, both have number 2 cast into each one of the top corners ( outside the gasket ). Which tells me they are a V2'S , Also Cleveland foundry logo is present, number 22 cast at the back side of each head on the inside as well as 3B28 or 3828 ? and the circled 19753 casting. Absolutely nothing resembling any of the regular identifying numbers.
The 2 in the corner tells me it's an actual ford head and not an Ausy one, so is it possible that this one ended up with a set of maybe 400 or a 351m heads on???
Tried looking up some pics to match nothing so far.
If anyone is recognizing the setup your help in figuring this out is greatly appreciated.
Thanks .
