351c Questions "WITH PICTURES"

I Have a 351c in a 1967 coupe, well it not iin yet i need to know what are some stuff i need to put it in there? i heard there is a header problem
I dont have a trany yet to have any suggestions?
i need some vlave covers too HAHA
I will post up some pics in a min i got to find my camera lol

Well, a battery and a radiator would be a good start...


Swapping in that 351C is going to require some fancy work. Block hugger headers and some "sledgehammer on shocktower action" come to mind.

i have moved the battery to the back side I will buy the radiator soon but that cost too much.
anyone no of any cheap but good stuff?

No sledgehammer required.

Swap Headers.
Manual steering.
Low manifold such as Wieand Xcelerator or Hole in hood.

5 speed? Small Block Bell Housing unless you are putting new style housing etc.

Auto, IDK.

darkhorseperformance.com sells swap headers. Manual Trans swap parts also.

hey how powerfull would this enigne be right know?
I have a electronic egnition and a high rise
single plane intank.
double roller timing chain. i dont know if the cam has been swaped or not?
proby was.
600cfm carb?
My bro has a subaru wrx stock i want to kill him... HAHA

I have done the same swap. And am trying to reverse it now...I had a 1970 351C 2V with an FMX tranny and headers. I had no probs with the headers hitting anything. Oh, and check out the classifieds under "Random 351C..." I am trying to get rid of this stuff. very cheap....maybe just pay shipping and a few bucks and its yours....NOTE:Engine price will be slightly higher
