Does the 351w block need to be bored to make 393ci's? I know I need a new rotating assembly including a 3.850 stroke crankshaft, but does the bore change?

I'm trying to decide between buying a bare block or the whole shortblock. If no boring is necassary I'll buy a bare block and the right assembly. If machining is needed I might just grab a stock 351w and some boost.

thanks.

393 is 351 bored .030 with the 393 stroker kit. It also will need the block clearenced for the rods.
