hey guys i want to go with a 351W in my stang but i have a 4 banger SVO/supercoupe T-5 tranny in my car right now.. will that tranny be able to hold up to the might of a 351W engine with an H/C/I swap?
Umm... Well considering when most people do 4cyl swaps to a 5.0, the 4cyl tranny doesn't last too long... So I can't imagine a 4cyl tranny lasting too long with a 351 with h/c/i, just my opinion
the svo trans does have a higher torque rating than a regular 4cyl trans but its still lower than a v8 trans i dont rember the specs sine i sold all my svo stuff and dont mess with it anymore though but rember alot of v8 trans blow behind 351's if not in perfect shape good luck
