Debating on a kenne bell vs. sts turbo system for my emissions friendly 351w h/c/i build. +Instant power,50state legal, same amount of boost, possible better overall than a sts kit....the engine is a Dart 351, afr 185 emission legal, Gt40 lower, kenne bell 2.2 blowzilla flowzilla kit emissions friendly, and the all supporting mods, 75mm tb,80mm maf, aermotive fuel kit, fuel pumps etc, run like 8psi-15psi, wich will be better kenne bell vs. a possible sts kit, mabye even cutting into trunk to make work....What would the est.hp with 351 h/c/i kenne bell 8-12psi or more boost if possible, I heard there are heat issues, detonation, etc if I run higher boost with 92 octane, I dont want to run more than premium gas, this is a street car, daily driver, thats why i was considering Kenne bell. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Considering STS does not make a rear mount for any foxbody, sn95 or new edge mustangs…that leaves you with either a custom turbo fab or the KB.

I have seen pics of a homemade jobbbie and it seems to hang awful low. Looks like a nightmare. I would think that for head ache alone factor i would go with the kenny bell.

I would be more tempted to go with a centrifugal blower, a 351 with a ken belle will make a lot of torque down low.

Great point, it would be a real hand full to bang gears on the street!
