i was at junk yard yeasterday and seen a 92 frod pickup with a Mustang Holley EFI Intake Manifold EGR Power Band 2000-6500rpm Lower Manifold Kit 50 State Legal Polished

for a lower intake is this an aftermarket intake or did they come with this..same runner design.but i believe it was stamped ford

ford trucks came with that type intake same thing as a holley system max. a friend did a 351 and used a truck lower and a bread box upper that was a truck type.

yeah if i remeber the 302&351 truck has the same type. i had the system max intake on a 302 with canfield heads,30 inj,70mm tb,a bigger mass air,
1 5/8 long tube headers ,i dont remeber the cam but it was a .565 lift cam not big, 3:55 gears, tko tranny and it did a best of 12.18 on motor. i had a 125shot of nos on it and it ran a low 11 in the heat of the day after driving on the 30 mike true street cruse. out of like 100+ cars i came in 13th on true street. i think the holley system max is a good intake. the gt 40 is a good intake but i think there is better 1s out there.

the 351 did NOT have the same intake. and yes the systemax intake is better than a gt40. especially with FI

Ya, the 351w truck intake is not the same, it has the oval intake ports, and the 302w has the huge rectangle ones. I did a 351w swap into a 90 F250 so thats how I know lol.

QFT!

The 351w truck lower looks more like a stock mustang 302 lower, with the oval ports. The stock 302 truck lower looks like a systemax.
