I am looking for some advice for those that have done it I have used the search function and think that I have most of my answers but looking for somethings I mite have missed. I am swapping in my 396 stroker from a fox body that I have into my 94. the 396 is an svo block setup for boost it has afr 205 heads and a tfs r intake cam is an afm b41 and it has forged everything good for 1200 hp. I also have a ysi blower thats not going on the car for a while funds 2 low rite now for a tune and the correct injectors the fox has dfi and I really dont know anyone around here to tune it let alone uppgrade its a gen6 dfi. the tranny is the strip terminator from lentech. I have kooks headers and according to them should be a straight swap. reason I am kinda forced to do this is my new 331 has been giving me overheating problems and shot out my freezeout plugs. its making me reconsider the machine shop I used I dont trust him this was last straw made quite a few mistakes already. I was wondering why alot of guys didnt use the spacer blocks between k member and frame? I saw alot of the bbf guys using them and wondered about them sorry for the long post

Spacer blocks? I've never heard of them. Im assuming they are meant to lower the k-member so u can let the engine sit lower?

Off the top of my head, ground clearance comes to mind. Maybe transmission mount issues?

yes its in my 93 cobra rite now and I am swapping into a 94 gt I bought the cobra done but its a cobra and would not like to cut it up its making 850 rwhp rite now so it needs a cage and real suspension and dont wana cut up a fairly clean cobra with low miles its #98 out of 5100 and has 38000 orig miles
