So what are you guy's thoughts on a '00 v6 junkyard turbo setup? Thinking of helping a friend setup something to this, either a twin t3 or a single hx....steet legal and all the manners a v6 should have....Aka the sleeper6.

I like idea and I would love to see someone else do it. Unfortunately I know nothing about the 99-up fuel system change. I'm sure I don't have any parts to make it fast. However When you're looking for supercharger parts for the older 3.8 let me know.

During all those V6 vs V8 post wars some V6er posted one that did 9's. It was using a S/C w/FMIC 3.8 from a Super coupe I think.

originally that was the plan , but it looks very complicated due to for changeing it to split port induction.

Sure, but you may have to fab up some brackets / hoses.

I would assume it would be like the turbo swap. You just take everything from a 3.8 SC. including the wiring and swap it all.

Which cars had Supercharged 3.8's? In case I ever get seriously interested in one of these swaps.

I'm guessing you're talking Ford

I think it was the cougers/T Birds from 89-95' (or 96'). I can remember the cut off year on that body style but it was when they took that long break before the 01' T-Bird cam out. Maybe someone else knows for sure

Thanks for the help ProHawk. Yeah, I did mean Ford. What else would I be interested in? Come on now. I think I may read up on these supercharged 3.8's, like how much power they make, what is required in order to make a successful swap. If anybody else is interested in this then let me know and I'll tell ya where I got my info from.
