Look I went online to like online books dot com ? An was able to print out a complete tear down an build of the TR3650? Manual Step by step Pictures to helpout? I used it when I rebuilt a second one I picked up cheep? worth looking to? its free download book??
i had a 03 gt mustang with the tremec 3650 only 6k on it dead stock!!! second gear grinded.. took to ford they did the tsb bulleton to replace second gear syncro.. after repair was done veh was great for 2 weeks then acted up again that was back in 04... now i have a 03 mustang gt mods are 373 gears i put in also mac cold air intake and mac off road h pipe super 44 flowmasters turn downs .. lowered 2 inches steeda springs.. my second gear doesnt grind but is hesitant ... to fix the problem you need a shifter preffer pro 5.0 any aftermarket shifter will do.. because the stock shifter doesnt have a catch on it therefore may cause a shift fork to fail do to over extending the shifter when agressive shifting happens from racing over and over.. i changed my shifter and my trans fluid back to mercon 5 syn and a bottle of slick 50 no problems now ... i do thing the t45 is a better trans not many problems out of them? the solution to the tremec 3650 is to put a good shifetr in it when trans is new.. or swap for a t45...
