Ok, I have a '03 gt with 10k miles and yesterday i noticed that there was tranny fluid leaking from the shifter area, where it mounts to the tranny. Weird thing is, the shifter is stock and has not been touched at all. Has anyone else had this problem ? If i am going to go through the trouble of re-sealing the stocker, I guess it's time for a tri-ax ? Thx

i have the same problem and noticed it after i put in a Triax.. its just spillage after the fluid gets hot.. and you go around a corner decently fast and it comes out the top.. I had Jiffy Lube top mine off after like 10 thousand miles and they said they only put in like a cup full which ended up costing a dollar and 60 cents or something. Plus, the dealer fills in 4 quarts when only about 3.5 are recomended to help with the 1-2 shift problem..
If you go to the dealer let us know what they say, but its not a huge deal, just have a little put in every 10,000 miles.

I noticed today there is some tranny fluid on the floor in my garage, So it's also comming out when the car is sitting cold ? I really want to fix this problem myself because, i have a o/r x-pipe and i dont really want to change it out, if i dont have to... Thx Again !
