373 gears for a turbo car?

are 373's good for a turbo car? say about 500rwhp, 500-550ish rwtq?

cars a 5 speed and get's revved to 7000 rpms

They would probably work well in your case(turning 7k rpm), but normally I would think 3.55's or 3.27's would be better on a turbo car.

I would stick with 3.55's or 3.27's because the extra engine load will help to spool the turbo's faster giving you the same boost in performance or possibly even more than the 3.73's would do for you.

I think they'll work well for you, since you'll be able to spin 7k rpm and they'll help you get off the line when you aren't making boost. I'm planning on keeping my 3.73s, and I'll probably be making 100 rwhp more than you.

thanks guys! ill probably go up to a 28" drag radial also, that will help out with some of the gear

Amen to that. Turbo's are load dependant.
Grunt the motor,
Nitro is too.

I have 3.73's on mine and it revs to 6500 rpms 490rwhp and it's perfect. I love it...I also have 6 gears though

Ya some nitrous would help to spool them a little faster as well. Doing a small 50-75 shot would be about right.
