Nice combo man! This is an example of what happens when you think outside the norm of what everyone else does and do something way better. You make a TON more power.
A good set of heads, is a key factor in having an efficient motor that breathes, and makes power. My buddy runs the "re-released" high port heads on his 306, and with an s-trim with a conservative tune, and 9 psi see's 450 reliable " I aint gunna blow my **** up" rwhp. He never saw those numbers before the Trick Flows. Do some research, and look at flow numbers, then make your decision. What works good on one persons combo may not work as well on yours, depending on what you have done, or plan on doing in the future.
The 185cc TW heads are bigger and flow better. I don't know enough about them, but i've seen guys with them and the numbers are killer. 86cobra on corral makes 371rwhp with 185cc TW heads on a n/a 306. It peaks under 6000 rpm.
