and^ that is a good deal, but i ordered some wiring and fuse stuff already to make my kit, otherwise i would of just bought that...

can anyone spare the time of a pic comparison of a ideal 3g vs. one that will have complicate install with the bracket..i'm reading it it seems some are easier than others. some require making a whole and others do not?

and will a 96-98 4.6 alternator will they work?

There are about 50 3g alternator install threads in the tech section of this site alone, so there's nothing I'll be able to add to this discussion that hasn't been covered already. That being said, dont let the grinding of the alternator bracket scare you off. It was so simple and quick, anyone can do it. I even did mine with a hand file, partially because I'm a badass, but mostly because I couldn't find my dremel.
