well i finally got some time to get the new alternator in. I must admit, of all the upgrades i've done over the years, this by far is probably one of the easiest to do that yeilds great results. Before I did the upgrade I was at 11 volts idling with the under drives and now im a lil over 14. It looks great with the internal fan too. I couldnt be happier. Now its time to get that electric fan in there. Here's some pics:
I opted for a circuit breaker instead of the fuse like most guys are using because I find it to be a waste of money to pay $10 for 140A fuses. Plus it looks nice...you cankind of see it under the cold air intake on the fender well.
