What gives!!! My 1st set of rear rotors/pads went metal to metal at the track... The fronts were still ok (worn, but good). Next I upgraded to powerslot rotors in the back and then the passenger side rear broken, it split completely through both sides of the rotor! THis happened after only 5k miles. I finally had Oriellys order a set of OEM replamements from Houston and they have only been on for a couple hundred of miles and now they are broke.
I do not feel the rear brakes on while driving and the car does not pull to one side like the brake might be on. I currently use hawk pads and I drive hard every day all day, but never had this issue with any other car driven the same way. Any ideas as to what the H##L is going on? This happened while I was casually driving down the street. I noticed a thumping sound and new what that it had happened again.
If I accelerate or brake the sound goes away, but if I coast the sound reappears.
I have NOS and if I take it to a dealer that probably will not back it under warranty.
