As long as the block sonic tests well you will not have any issues, sonic testing to ensure proper thickness and support is a must with a .040"+ overbore on a factory block....proper cooling system is important not matter what bore to keep them cool.

I agree with Clement, if you can find a block with a standard bore or .030" you would be better off.
 
I wud run it cause it was free and fresh out of the machine shop. Iz asking if any was running a windsor with a .060 overbore!!! 351w is a lil thicker casting than the standard 302.

I was wondering why because if you want to make power you need ring seal, and the more wall you have the stiffer the wall and thus better seal. just because someone is doing it, doesnt mean its ideal.
