Ok so I am supercharged and put down 379/370 and I have a set of nitto dr's on the way. Which gears would be the best for the track and take a guess on what my times at the 1/4 mile would be...

You could run a 28" tall DR to reduce your effective gear ratio also. Since you already have 4.10's.

Go with 3.73 gears. My 99GT makes 384/385 and with BFG DRs it has run a best of 12.09 116mph.

i have 3.73's personally, to be honest thought I couldn't tell a huge difference with them....supposedly they are the best for the 1/4 mile though which is why i got them

I have a P1SC on my car and I have been toying with that question for months. I finally just bought a set of FRPP 3.73s last week and I am going to install them in the next week or so. I'm more of a road racer, so I was vasilating between the 3.55s and the 3.73s. Never considered the 4.10s.

I have a vortech blown car and I have 4.10s and I am glad I didnt go any lower. If it was a KB car I would say go lower but centri cars need to get that rpm up quick.

unless you've got some serious traction going, anything over 3.73's will be wasted.

Id suggest 3.73's, 4.10's and a blower youll be at the end of fourth gear near the end of the track unless you raise your limiter a bit.

Agree..........go with 3.73. I run through the lights at about 6000rpm in 4th gear----perfect! (Come to Tulsa and hook 'em up with me. I just ran a 12.09 115mph with my 2000GT before the track closed for the season! Have Mickey Thompson 26X10.50-15LT ET Streets).
