today i dropped my car off at the shop to get my gears, t-lok, and lower links put in. i was just curious as to how long i should wait to really get on my car to feel the difference the swap makes. ive never had any mod done like this so im kinda clueless about it. thanx. ill post some timeslips after i flog her at the track. hopefully i can get the kind of n/a times that rygen and scrming are making. ive run a 10.44 1/8 bone stock so im pretty optimistic. ill keep u guys posted.

normal gear break in period is usually 500 miles. take it easy and vary your speed during the first 500 miles.

Well really there is no breakin on gears...just drive it for about 15-20 minutes while weaving around making sure to slosh oil to all the bearings, and varying your speed. Go home and park it for about 2+ hours, then take it out and ROMP on it! You wont have any problems, I did the same to mine and 25K later 0 problems and 0 whining.

Many have come out of the shops parking lot sideways lol...it would take ALOT to screw them up...more like a faulty instal. So if you have ANY whine, take it back and let the shop fix it.

i dont think that a gear installer will give this advice, especially if they are going to warranty the install.

a T-lok is the best mod you can add to your V6 Mustang - it changes the whole feel of the car.

(and I cant believe that they aren't even a factory option! )

ps / How do you like yours now?

Nothing like the gear and LSD upgrade, I'm glad you dig it. Its my favorite mod too, lol!
