I got my 410 gears installed today and I like them,but for me it really wasn't what I expected.I was expecting it to feel like a new machine and actually it just woke it up.I'm impressed,but not WOW'd.Before I got my gears I would read some of the posts of guys saying they should've gone with 4.30's and I would think they were crazy,but I'm kinda thinking the same thing now.
Before the gears the 1-2 shift would chirp the tires if I took it near redline and nothing on the 2-3 shift,but a nice hard shift.
After the gears the 1-2 shift spins the tires and the 2-3 chirps the tires and the 3-4 shift is like the old 2-3 shift.
My car is an 03 GT with weld in flows and a drop in K&N.It still hasn't seen it's first oil change yet,so maybe I just have to break it in some more.Also installing a UPR X pipe tommorrow so maybe that'll help.
