I have a motor in my car which I have not done ay work on, so I don't have all the details. It has a SVO blower, with a 6 lb pulley I believe. A KB boost a pump, red injectors, aftermarket H pipe, cold air intake. 4:11 rear end gears.
What can I do next? The motor has 110,000 miles on it and since the '97 is pertty low on horsepower to begin with, should I get a valve job and headers?
What type of valve job? Or is this particular motor doomed to average performance? I am not inclined to open the bottom end on the car if I don't have to.

if you got the money then redue the bottom end to freshen it up. new rings, bearings. port the heads, 3 angle valve job with some aftermarket valves, longtubes, and get a PI intake. and maybe a smaller pulley for the blower.

Really decide on what you want/can do with it.
Short of pulling the motor and taking it apart, putting in a set of blower cams will help alot, along with some long tube headers.

The motor is not doomed for HP. There is lots of potential, but gets expensive with head porting, oversize valves and a built bottom end.
