Replacing 4.6L 2v 2004 GT Fuel Pump

I need to replace my fuel pump. This is the only one that summit has...All I have so far is a steeda high flow intake, magnapacks catback, and a mac o/r x pipe. will this be too big of a fuel pump? will i lose gas mileage at all?

Here is the description:

VOR-8F001-265

Vortech In-Tank Mustang Fuel Pumps
Fuel Pump, Electric, In-Tank, 255 lph, Stock Inlet/ Outlet, Ford, Mustang, Each

Why do you need a new few pump? Are you putting in a supercharger or something? That pump is like the Walbro 255, which is NOT made for your year car. 99-04 GT's have a returnless style fuel system. A 255 lph pump like that one from Summit will burn out pretty fast because it is constantly running, and isn't made for our kind of fuel dilivery system. I was recommend the Focus SVT pump. That pump is made for our kind of fuel system and can support up to about 400WHP.
