Thanks everyone for the info you've provided. I guess from this point i will look to get the supercharger and then rebuild my engine when the extra cash comes available down the road. Just waiting on the 2.2L now. I wish KB would offer a better intercooler so we could push more boost without going lower compression or race gas.

I'm sure someone will come with an aftermarket intercooler like the gordon's one for the 03 cobra..

Man i hope so. KB always drummed up their intercooler as best...but in reality the stock 03 cobra intercooler is like 3x better than the intercooler 1.7L kit one. Thats why the cobra can safely push 21-25 psi of boost @ 8.5:1 compression on pump gas. My goal is atleast 20 psi probably more with p&p heads.
