has anyone ever tried using the elec fan off the 4 cyl mustang. i have an entire parts car so i have all the wiring, mounts, etc. if i measured right, it should just barely fit since the motor is offset a little bit. thanks in advanced.

The electric motor and fan projects too far to use with a 5.0.

Yea, I was going to say that. The 2.3 fan is like 6" deep, it would never fit in a 5.0.

I heard someone say that the e-fans off a sunfire work really well and are small enough to fit. I havent done any measuring, but the JY are full of them and it may be a better alternative.
