4 cyl springs in a 5.0

Hi, I put a set of 03 "new take off" springs on my 87 notch an they seem kind of stiff....I'm thinking the newer, heavier car had a higher spring rate...or am I getting old?.....anyway...are any of you running 4 cyl springs in your cars for weight xfer? if so how's it working...did u use all four or just the rears...i was thinking it might set too low in the front with them...thanks

budget drag setup uses 4cy springs in the front and stock in rear. i would not recommend this for a daily driver though. i have them on mine as a dd and i absolutely hate'em. weight transfer is great for off the line straight ahead, but taking curves and hwy driving/high speed is real floaty. i'd recommend just forking up $100 for some used ebay springs.

4cyl springs

i use the 4 cyl springs front and rear and the was some floating at high speeds around curves. i also have a set of lakewood 90/10 struts up front and 50/50 shocks in the back for weight transfer. i cant complain about the way the car looks and hooks. if you dont mind the ride as daily driver then do it. just keep in mind spinnin aint winnin.
