4 cylinder tranny

My friend had his tranny explode last night and we got a 4 cylinder tranny and we need to know what we need to make it fit in a 95 GT. Like driveshaft, bellhousing, etc. Thanks.

If the tranny is from a fox body you will have to change the input shaft to one from a 94/95. I'm not to sure about the bell housing and drive shaft. I'm pretty sure the driveshaft stays the same tho.

if he could get his v8 tranny to explode, I don't think a 4 cyl tranny will last too long

all he has done is intake, carb, cam, 289 heads, and exhaust. so we dont know why the tranny took a ****.

thta 4cyl tranny will make his car fill faster due to the high gear ratios in the tranny.
