4 inch cowl hood

i currently have a 4 inch cowl hood on my 88 mustang gt , i was thinking about getting a heat extractor hood , i want the added cooling benifets of the heat extractor , is there any way to add vents to the front of the cowl but not have it look to goofy ?an has any one done this before ,

personaly i dont think it will look nice...dont butcher a good hood.. just sell it and get one with it on already or else u might ruin the hood then u will definetely need one and you wont have one to sell. just my opinion... good luck

heat extractor wont cool any more or less than a true cowl hood, but the heat extractor hood would work quite well for front end lift pressure
