What are the advantages of swaping over to five lug? Besides wheels. Thanks.

Big breaks from sn95 is the biggest advantage along with wheels

You are missing out on the stopping power! It is a huge improvement. Higher horsepower cars use 5 lug wheels because they disperse the force better and has less of a chance of loosening up and have your wheels fall off!!

<---- wonders why anyone would stay 4 lug.

I ran 4 lug Cobra Rs for years, then I realized there was a better way to mod the car, spent a little money and got the set up I have now. When I drop the Cobra brakes on, things will be MUCH better also!

Not to mention 5 lug cobra R's look noticeably better than 4 lug R's.

The choice of wheels are huge for 5 lug, and the brakes are far better. The looks alone are enough for me to change.....the rest is all a bonus!

That's a pretty big advantage.

13" dual piston front brakes and rear disks BLOW the stock fox 11" disk/drum setup out of the water.

The car is much more fun to drive when you can actually stop it pretty quickly.

Definitely the best mod i made to the car. I did it for the performance aspect

There are lots of them. From simple spindle, axle disc/drum change, to a Cobra set up, and different brakes etc.

As far as wheels your best bet is decide on those then do the 5 lug set up to best fit them.

I love having Cobra Brakes on my car, they are a fantastic mod! I also like the sealed bearing/hub assembly up front.
