The last thing that you want is to see one of your wheels, rolling by you, after it has broken off!! As far fetched as this sounds, it has actually happened to a couple of guys who post here! If you plan on doing any road racing, track days or cone carving, then the 5 lugs are a must. Both for the added strength, and the required better brakes. After I supercharged my car, and nearly crashed it into a slower moving car, I knew that upgraded brakes were a necessity. Something that I should have done, before making more power! It really is a no brainer, nothing but benefits, to do the upgrade.

Yeah if you wheels are coming off while you're driving your problem isnt having 4 lugs, its you dont know how to use an impact gun.

See the Foxinator, 700rwhp termi swap 4 eye, still 4 lug, with disc brakes.

Hundreds of people who road race, drag, drift, etc Have 4 lugs on their cars, and they'll be just fine keeping them too, seeing as how the axles will probably break before the lugs shear off.

Exactly. There are still 7 second mustangs out there that are 4 lugs.
