I need help. I have a project car that has the mustang 11 front end with 9'' 4 lug disk brakes that I want to change to 5 lug. I think it must be 1974-1978. Can I just get after market 5 lug rotors for the change? If so what year do I need for the switch? Also have the 8'' rear end. It measures 58'' drum face to face. What is recomended for this swap. This housing has the taper on the outer ends so i was told I cant just change the axles. Do not know squat on mustangs but I guess I will when this car is finished.

You are posting in parts wanted and for sale. You can check speedway motors I think they have 5 lug front rotors for street rods. The axles you may have to order new with 5 lug configuration, before you spend the money on the 8 inch look into the 8.8 out of a foxbody. 8inch rear is not that strong I had trouble with mine so went with 8.8.

Street rod 5-lug rotors and have the axle flanges redrilled to 5-lug and use the 9" Ranger drums.

Side note: Yeah, its really the car's fault that you posted your question in the wrong section of an under-utilized forum

there is a place in the states that makes a custom bracket and you would use the granada rotor with mid size GM calipers, the main thing I also recommend is to use the dual piston caliper as for the rear end a quick change is to use a comet or maverick rear end complete simple bolt in
