Are those just the standard SLP tips that come with the catback or did you buy those somewhere else? They look good, where can I find a set of just the tips??

Thanks!

standard SLP tips. You can get them from SLP or rpmoutlet.com also carries them. Double-walled, rolled, slighty angled.

Strange how some 5.0 owners love straw-like 2.5" tips and some 4.6 guys opt for cannon look-a-likes

Yea it's the way they come out of the bumper and the cut outs I think. In the old LX 5.0s you could see the exhaust from the bumper like all the way past the rear axle. When I was a kid I used love seeing the old LX 5.0s with chrome exhaust like that looks sweet.

That's true, those McDonalds soda straws work pretty good on a GT since there's not much air moving through that engine to begin with.

What about some MRT brushed rolled tips? They are 3.5". These are the ones that i'm leaning towards.

I took the pics off another forum, sorry if it's yours...haha. Nice garage though...
