I paid for new block, oil pump with TSS billett gears, balanced/blueprinted shortblock

What I got is a used ebay block, a saleen kit internal that NEVER been to machine shop, slapped together in an evening... sloppy... fingerprints all over pistons... junk!

an old block, no oil pump; much less the billett gears.

Get there, load up shortblock... he says nothing about motor...

I ask/point out... there's no oil pump?

SD "oh, by the way.. had it in the back of my pick up...we stopped and got gas... must have been stolen"

Wow...

So, he thought i'd not notice... but, after noticing and poiniting out the obvious... he still refrains from mentioning the seasoned block.

I purchased, and was promised NEW block, billett gears, etc...

The parts look 'kit'... dont think the've seen any machine shop...

I paid 4000$ a year ego for a ebay used block, and out of the box 'saleen' kit.

I made sure block was secure in my truck before mentioning oil pump... b/c I knew mentionig block would have led to another insulting lie, and taking the block off my truck.

Its my sad trophy... a mess, from fingerprints all over pistons... mess... a hot mess.

I call and ask why this wasnt mentioned... his reply:

Why didnt you mention anything face to face?

I did! I said...no oil pump... your reply was so funny, my girlfriend had to take a double take, and go sit in the truck to keep from laughing...

Now, this is what it is... I tell sd he is no longer in the equation of me and my heads b/c I paid, he's having mach. shop do them; give me the name of machine shop.

DS: **** you,.. and hangs up.

I have pics of my oilpumpless shortblock, and 'ebay used block' "only 1000 miles :laughlots:" like every block on ebay... geeeze.

Gave him a chance to come clean with the block that Id obvously notied... nothing.

The only chance of me getting anything, is what i got... if it'd been shipped... Im sure he'd swear the shortblock he sent had oil pump with gears, and was a new block... and blame it on transport.

Gave him another chance to be honest, come clean, face to face... he couldnt do it.:laughlots:

Tell me you had to use a seasoned block and it checked out; proof of it... nothing.

NO build sheet.

The man is a lieing piece of trash. Period.

Im pretty sure his dad had to get him outta this bind, again...

What are the chances of me seeing the 2500$ worth of heads/hardware I bought... was promised???

About what my year old 4000$ shortblock ...

I think Ill post this auction this junk to big shops... use as a marketing tool:

Do business with us, or pay more, wait a year, and get 'THIS'... your choice.

SD Wheeler doesn't venture over to Stangnet and this site had their share of it many years ago. Best of luck to you getting something worked out; even if its with the legal system.

The worst thing you could have done was to take it home. Now he can claim you're trying to scam HIM!

i'm having a hard time deciphering the transaction as the composition is so bad.

wondering why you would accept a bogus deal in person and then complain to 3rd parties via the net.

i must be losing something in translation.

I don't think you're missing anything robo...

It looks as if the OP maybe didn't have the sand to stop and say, "This is NOT what I paid for".

It also doesn't sound like the dude that built this thing is never going to make good. File in small claims court and take your lumps when the judge says, "I see no paper work anywhere that outlines the product you say you paid for."

Then take the block to someone else and have it completed. Wave Buh-buy to your heads and whatever else.

Start with someone reputable the next time instead of some kid that still lives at his dad's house (or whatever the case).

It's the d-bag's word against the OP. The OP can call out the d-bag on no paperwork, but the d-bag could say "if the engine wasn't what I promised, why would he have taken it home? He kept the good motor, and is trying to get a refund on a junker!"

It's a win for the d-bag, and the OP pays MORE money for court costs.

Expensive lesson.

Wow, this guy is still around scamming? The last I read on him, was someone was about to take the law into their own hands with him....After all of these years of scamming people I'm surprised someone hasn't done that to him yet

why didnt you just get all your stuff from a legit company like MMR or DSS or someone? Also, theres a ton of stuff on the web saying how this guy ripped off a lot of people so why would you buy stuff from him instead of a real performance company?

and how come no one has kicked his a$$ yet?

MMR has a terrible reputation as well, mention them on ModularFords and see what reaction you get.

Why hasn't this been resolved in a court of law?
That's the place to take it, in my opinion.

Where does this guy live? I live in Houma, LA. What's his name/address, if you don't mind posting it? I have friends in law enforcement (state police) who can probably do something with this joker. If not, there are "other means".

MMR didn't screw me over at alllll when i bought my rotating assembly from them. They were a really good company to deal with and I had zero problems with them and their stuff. So i dont really think they have a terrible reputation..

Shannon Wheeler used to post here under the user "TheGame". I was one of the few people who got what I paid for back in 2002. IMO, I'd not do business with him again due to the long line of people left holding the bag after he did not produce product after being paid. Many folks here lost a lot of money.
