408 stroker build need advice

i am building a 408 stroker it has eagle forged rotating assembly with 210cc pro comp built heads with big can and 7qt moroso oil pan but dont have the money for victor jr intake mani i want would it be ok to us my performer intake mani with 650cfm carb until i get the other funds? or should i just wait? motor is not in car yet never started yet!

depends on what cam your running, that combination will work but you won't be getting the most out of your heads of course.

browell is right it also depends if you want to get every horse power out of that motor. why short yourself if it is a car you want to be proud of or want to run dont short yourself due to funds save your money and make this car what you want it to be

im just saying that ill use that to get the car running because intake and carb are easy to change and im anxious to get it started but dont want to hurt the motor lol

it wont hurt anything, if you have the parts sitting around, go for it
