I put my 42lb injectors in the other day and I now need to take out my old FMU. I am using the diagram on page 15 of this manual:

My setup is the same as the manuals one. I have two question though. 1. Do I just disconnect the return line to the tank from the FMU and reconnect it back to the fuel regulator? 2. How do I cap off the vacuum hose from the FMU to the fuel regulator? It appears to be a small black plastic T junction that it is connected to right now. If I take the hose from the FMU off will it be good or do I have to find some sort of cap?
