What transmission comes with teh 2.3? I am thinking it is a T5 but would like ot confirm. SSecond question is will a T5 from a 5.0 bolt right in it's place??? I have a mustang sitting with a 2.3 and with fuel prices the way they are right now it may not be a bad thing. Thanks in advance.
Good advice, but I have no intention of selling the T5 cause I have several 5.0 cars. I also have a n/a 2.3 car that I need to be able to move in and out of the garage and around the property. I also have a spare T5 from an 88 5.0 car.
What I want to know is will a 5.0 T5 work on a n/a 2.3 car??? I really don't want to buy a salvage yard T5 if I don't have to. Thanks
input shafts are different. I know to use a 2.3 t5 in a 5.0 you can get a bushing for it but since this is true I would imagine you'd have to machine down the input shaft on the 5.0 unit to get it to work but I'm not positive on that.
