They way that you posted this question, it would seem that you are better off getting a V8 car the first time. There are still some good virginal or modified the way that you want cars for a good price in good shape.
i am not sure yet ,but info for carb or efi will help me make decision,what about front suspension ,fuel lines,engine wiring harness ,any info or other resourses,thanks
I am with the guys above.....GET A DONOR CAR! I am doing the swap now, and its been a real pain piecing everything together. I am going carb'd, because i wouldn't dream of trying this EFI without a donor car the do a side by side changeover with. If i had to do it again, i would have held out for a zero-option 8 cyl car......couldn't find one when i was looking though.
it's not a beginners project.it'll make you discouraged in a hurry.if you think you'll be money ahead,then wrong again.just save and look for a running and complete v-8 that you can drive while you work on it.
