What modifications are needed to use the transmission from an 04 mustang GT in my 1999 GT? From what I’ve gathered off the truck sites they’re something going on with the speed sensors. Does this also apply to the mustang?
There is a ring in the transmission that the speed sensor gets signal from...I had the issue once swapping transmissions...there is an aftermarket product I heard that will work but I just ended up rebuilding the old tranny..
The teeth counts are different...all I know.
