4th cylinder misfire

my check engine light keeps coming on and the computer says the 4th cylinder misfire. i turned the light off and it stays off for about a week or so and comes back on. i checked the compresion and its at about 90lbs. someone told me that its a low compresion but it shouldnt set the light off would it also have todo w/ something electrical?

could be a bad plug or coil pack.

Change the coil pack with another one. Reset the computer and see if you throw a code on the other cylinder. If so, bad coil pack.

pull the wire/COP and clean out the goop down in the hole.. typically water/junk will get down there and short out the spark. Not sure if this is the case, i'd just think i'd take the cheap easy ways of solutions first before coil packs/cop's

Switch it with any of the other ones.
