Ok I have decided to buy a forged short block (new 2V block) and then get my HP TTs. But here is the deal, I want some mach heads on there so that I dont have to worry about stg2/race head 2V GTs. So I really need a parts list of what I may need, such as which front cover mach or cobra, will my front accessories work, and can i make my stock GT computer and wiring work with the 4V heads and an 01 cobra intake? I know that 4V heads will work and that I may need to drill 1 hole and that there may not be a hole for 1 bolt, but I just need a general guideline on what parts to buy, no real need for part #s. We really need a good faq on these things. If anyone can find a thread with a ton of info on this subject that would work too. I was planning on an 01 cobra head swap, but the mach (03-04 4Vs) heads flow VERY good and are about the same price. I just need to find some because I will go ahead and buy them and wrap them in plasic so they will stay good until I get ready for the instal. Karkraft used to have them for about $400, but now I guess I will have to search E bay. Thanks guys, although I dont expect many replys LOL.

You would be better off and probably cheaper in the long run to get your 2V heads ported & polished when you get the block built.

Or

Swap a complete 4V engine with the computer etc.

An entire 4v swap sounds a lot cheaper. You wouldnt be mix matching parts that arent meant for a 2v engine.
