I want to replace my 5.0 emblems. The chrome seems to have seen better days.

Every since the new emblems came out, the old ones look dated....then again the entire car is dated.

So do I buy new original emblems......or stick a pair of '11 5.0 emblems on?

Wwjd?

i still think go with the old. the new badges kind of go with a more rounded body style IMO

I say for the price of them buy a new set of the 11's and stick them on with tape once you remove the old ones to see if you like them . if you don't sell them and get your money back or stick them on your tool box

First off, let me start by saying you can't really go wrong with either. Most people won't notice the difference at a glance and both emblems look good.

With that said, if it were ME, I'd only run the new emblems if I had a Coyote between the fenders. In my brain, the new logo is for the new engine and the old logo is for the old engine. For me, it would be as black and white as putting 351C badges on a car when what I really had was a 351W.

There's your daily dose of retarded Nik logic. Take it with a grain of salt.

In agreement with Nik. If I were to see the new ones on a car I would expect a coyote under the hood. That being said they dont look bad on a fox so if you do a new 5.0 swap then feel free to badge accordingly.

Love the new Stang but think the new 5.0 emblems look "clown-ish" for lack of a better word.

Stick with the original imo.

I think it's a good looking emblem, but not something I'd put on my car.

i say no emblems. There is no need to advertise what's under your hood. By now pretty much everyone knows already.

That's a good point. I pulled the 5.0 emblems when I had my car buffed and haven't gotten around to replacing them. I toyed with the idea of a running horse, then the new 5.0s, but at this point the polished tips says it all.

i like both and being old school i would probably go original but i think what would look best on your car would be old school black or black chrome

New one doesn't look bad at all but I prefer the smaller, squarish badge (font) for the Fox bod.

i dig the new one, thats just my opinion. then again, my car has no stock look to it really, i like the smooth look kinda goes along with my door handles and trunk being shaved (smooth) but again, thats just me! only way i can say to do it is buy one of each, stick one on each side and problem solved! j/k, but seriously buy one of each, one on each side and see what you like...then you didnt buy 2 of one you dont want...

Agreed, i tried a new set on for about a month. Im back to the "old" ones. They seemed to big to me and looked too "new" for a fox.
