5.0 Emblems (Resto vs OEM)

Tried doing a search, not specific enough results.

I'm looking to replace the 5.0 fender emblems as the paint is chipping and are dull. Wondering who has purchased the cheaper replicas from 50resto and how they compared to the originals (thickness, shine, etc...)?

Both sides are $15, but if they generally look cheap compared to the OEM ones I'd rather pay $17 per side for the Ford OE.

just get OE...i got some non-original ones a while back and had to remove them this weekend because they dulled up so bad i couldnt stand it...

I try to go oem for alot of stuff more so for trim stuff, made better and last better. I would go oem.

Get the OEM ones. I bought the 50resto ones, and the first time I washed the car the red part of the dots washed off. Now the finish is wearing off of one of them.

Resto emblems are thin and weak. They will break if you flex them the slightest bit. The OEM ones are much stronger and higher quality.
