I hope I don’t get too many mustang enthusiasts mad; however I bought an 89’ 5.0 HO out of a mustang and am putting it into my jeep. I know that the 5.0 in stock form is a good motor, but if I wanted to be ordinary I would have bought a chevy. I have been tossing around the idea of putting a set of GT40P heads on my motor to get some more power out of it( that’s what it is all about right). The problem I have is which cam would be the best for my application. I should give you some info first, I will drive my jeep on the road also I wheel in the snow where a lot of power is needed. All though some times you need to keep your foot off the skiny pedal and let it idle. Any info is very much appreciated, Thanks.
