5.0 ranger

wats up guys my name is bryan and i live in so cal. new to the forum lookin for some love and any insite on the 302 c4 combo. i am just getting started on a 92 ranger extra cab that currently has a 4.0 v6 and i am plaining on swapping a 5.0 into it. does anyone have any advise or comments?? where should i get started on looking for the parts i need and the most important part of all the 302 powerplant that i am trying to get my hands on..

ps. i heard that from 75 to 78 in the mustang 2 the bellhousing and flywheel was the smallest diameter ever made for the c4 trans. anyone know where i can locate one?

Another thing to try is a V8 Explorer or mountaineer (with the 302). Has GT40P heads and a GT40 style intake. And if you cam get the whole truck you get the engine mounts, headers, wiring, A/C lines, everything. Think about it. Factory swap parts!

Explorer/Mountianeer IS Ranger platform. Rollovers are pretty cheap, and most drivetrains are in good condition. Go have some fun!
