My brother inlaw has this NOS kit kit brand new and never got around to installing it and doesnt have his mustang anymore and would sell it to me for a cool $200.00 when he paid $700.00 for it.

my thing is that its designed for a 5.0 and punches a stage 2 150 dry shot.

So obovisly my question is will it work for my 4.6. I am told I have a completly built motor, but until I take the k-member off I don't want that big of shot. so in the mean time is it possible to put a smaller nozzel on (75 shot) and not install the special stage 2 fuel pump.

And if I was to install the 150 shot with the stage 2 pump, would I need to upgrade my fuel pump as they recomend?

Main thing is will it work in a 4.6?
Just can't pass on a deal like this!

Thanks in advance

I would say buy it, sell it off on eBay, and then get the correct nitrous kit.

Or even better, forget about f'n nitrous...

The k-member doesnt have anything to do with nitrous. Only benefit that offers is losing 50-60 lbs on the front end and allows you to better set up your suspension with other parts.

Who told you that you have a completely built motor, and what does that consist of? A 150 DRY shot on a 4.6 is not really the best idea.

Stage 2 meaning what? Two nitrous nozzles instead of one?

You can run a 75 shot on stock engine, stock fuel system (unless you wanted to upgrade the pump). You just need the correct plugs for the nitrous, and if its a dry shot I would make sure your fuel system is in top shape and also have the AF ratio checked before you spray.
