4.6 to 5.0 stroker kit...any need to modify the stock block?
Ive been doing alot of research lately as far as engine combos go, and so far ive thought of 32v swap, dss longblock crate, and now i have a new idea to add to my options: keep the stock block, get a stroker kit (5.0 from dss, forged), more aggressive cams, heads, chip, headers, the works. Of course, this brings up new questions. For starters, will I have to modify the block at all? MM&FF has that project gt with 600+ hp on the stock block, so i am not sure that a stronger block would be required, and that I could retain the old stuff, and save some cash. It would also help me get closer to that kb sc'er im drooling over....
Opinions?
