5.0 Upper Intake Bolts ??

Hello! I'm trying to work on my EFI conversion and I'm having a problem finding some bolts for the Upper to lower intake manifold. No dealerships here in town have them and when I call to ask what the part # is I get 3 different #'s and they tell me I need a Stud... I'm really regretting ordering these intakes off ebay now. They are stock '89-93 upper/lowers in which I need the 6 bolts to connect the upper to lower intake. They look as though it will be 6 long bolts, but I'm not quite sure.. Does anyone have the dimensions of these 6 bolts, so I can just get them from a hardware store?

here's the part #'s they give me:

390589S8 5.46 - stud
390358s8 5/16 short bolts - $3.11 each - plenum bolts
390653s8 6" - long bolts - $4.56 each
39148S8X 7" - long bolt

Should I just go buy some 5/16 bolts that are 6" long?

The 390358-S8 matches what I have (5/16-18 x 1.62")
My other number is 390397-S8 (5/16-18 x 6.07").

Some part numbers are constantly changing so who knows.

I believe you need four of the short and two of the long. They are all flange head bolts.

Since they are not high stength items and thread into soft aluminum, some threaded rod & a hacksaw will do the trick. See your local hardware, Home Depot or Lowes for the 5/16" threaded rod & nuts.

Be sure to grab some flat washers if you do it that way, or if you get bolts with no flange.

The long bolts measure 6 1/4" overall length, and the short ones are 2" overall. As stated you need 4 short and 2 long.

Go to the local hardware store and grab all you need for cheap.

I believe one of the back short bolts is actually a stud? doesnt that useless anti-theft bar mount on one of them? I belive they were giving you the right part numbers and what you need is 2 of the longs 3 shorts and the one stud they listed for you.

Can you elaborate on the anti-theft bar? I'm not sure what you are talking about.

Im not sure if its really an antitheft bar but thats just what the internet has named it. its a pointless metal rod that goes from a back intake bolt to the opposite side head. I $hitcanned mine along time ago.

yea no one ever puts those bars back on, never seen one till recently really, i dont really see the whole purpose of it but whatever

Forget that it was even mentioned. I am sure you didn't get one with your intake. Especially if you didn't even get bolts with it. Like they said above it is a random metal bar that sits there for no apparent reason.
