ok well i dont know how to post in the wanted mustang adds. so i will post here. im 14 and want to strat on a mustang. im looking for a fox body from 79-93. i want it to have a 5.0 and any transmission will work. would like a 5 speed. the miles on the car i really dont car becuase most likly it will be rebuilt to a 306. color dont matter because it will be getting a paint job soner or later and rims dont matter.

ALSO my dad has a 86 mustang that he would liek to get 2 more pony rims for. he is looking to pay 150 or so for just 2 of them with or without tires.


im looking to spend as cheap as possiable and it be in ohio somewhere. let me know what you have. i also have my 76 cobra to trade.

you could possibly get a nice one if you sold the cobra out right and then bought a stang.. i joined here when i was 14 as well.. had my 86 GT and then bought my 92 when i was 15.. now im 16

the way to go on these cars is fix all of the drivability stuff first then spend money on the motor. All of the car basics first, cooling, charging, make sure it is safe. Then do suspension, subframe connetors are a must, new shocks and spring are important, look into a coil over kit best money you can spend on a mustang imo.(Maximum Motorsports is the best source) do a 5 lug swap so you can put big brakes and whatever tires and wheels you like, then after all that stuff buy your motor. Trust me, you will be much happier with it, oh and get a 5sp or you will regret it, if you wanted one from the get go. Good hunting and welcome to the hobby

p.s don't be a dumbass and wreck your car becuase you were driving to fast like i did,that is all the sage advice i can offer, oh and no matter what have fun!!!

hey i live in delaware and have a 90 lx converted to a 5.0 1"5/8 headers and new mac exhaust with high flow cats 65mm tb and 75mm i could through in as well 373 gears still new in box new 110lph fuel pump car is lowerd 1"1/2 body not in great shape but paint would mke it look good

bluidvl hey, are you in OHIO? or are you in the state of delware?how much you looking for? coul di get some pictures? milliage on the 5.0? whats on the car? is it a hatchback?coupe?notch?

what engine was in it befour? 2.3L or the 3.8L?


is it a 5 speed? if not then it dont matter becasue i want put a old 4 speed transmission in whatever car i get. would a 4 speed bolt up to the 5.0L?
