5.0

just bought a 94 with the following mods dss pro bullet short block 10:1 comp ratio, trick flow heads, trick flow track heat intake, pro m 80 mm maf,30lb injectors,3.73 gears, anderson fms b 31 cam, tremec 3550 tranny, adjustable fuel pres reg,
underdrive pullies,fms hamonic balencer,diablo chi[p,mac long tubes,mac off road h and flows

i seem to be having some probs with it though.

it seems to be very rich while idleing and burns alot of gas

stalls frequently while idling after the car has been moving

only ran a 14.076 quarter but that is partially due to the 225 tires in the rear

the car seems to have plenty of power just wondering if the quarter mile time seems decent for the amt of mods. also had a .5 reaction time on the 14 sec run but had a .104 rt later in the day but missed 3rd so it screwed up my time

Well I would check and to see if the Maf is calculated for the injectors (don't know how...sorry man)...I'm sure there is some sort of number on the MAF maybe?...

Also your time doesn't matter on your reaction time....that is only if you are bracket racing...

Your car should get you real close to 12.5 with some good driving...and tuning obviously...

the anderson b 31 cam recomends 30lb injectors.

I always went on horsepower levels when choosing injectors size rather than cam choice. Who told you that, the previous owner or AFM? You said she's rich at idle and makes me think those 30#'s are a little too big. But, could probably make them work cause you would have to spend $400 to convert it to 24#'s. I say turn your pressure down a little bit and check your TPS and timing. Or, if you can, find a chassis dyno and find out what your A/F ratio is.
