5.0Resto's 5-Lug Conversion Kit?

I was wondering if this kit EVERYTHING i would need to complete the conversion or is there some other things i would need to go another with this kit?

you need to do a search on this, as there is tons and tons of info out on this subject. While not 100% sure, I "think" the 50resto has lincoln like 5 lug rotors, which will make a LOT of wheels not fit due to a larger hub.

I've heard that there is a company advertising a low price on a 5 lug swap and then hitting you with an exobinate shipping charge. Exersize caution, and ask about shipping charges before you make a purchase from anyone.

V8only is right. The 50resto kit includes lincoln rotors up front, which won't allow proper fitment of lots of wheels. Almost no OEM ford wheels will fit. Aftermarket stuff may or may not. Steeda's do. The problem is the lincoln rotor bearing cap protrudes past the outside of the wheel in lots of cases. You CAN fit some of the Ford wheels (Bullitt, for example) if you leave off the center cap. I just don't like the looks of that. That's just me. I am doing the five lug shuffle on my '93 soon to fit '03 cobra wheels. I scoured the junk yards around my house and got sn95 spindles, rotors, hubs and calipers for my swap. There are some benefits to this. Steering geometry is better on the sn95's than on the stock foxes, and you have a good basis for a killer brake upgrade in the future. So far, I've got $200 in the front parts (used) and $200 in the rear axles and drums (new). Pick up the rear stuff at your local Ford dealer to avoid paying shipping costs. All of this stuff is pretty heavy and I have seen disclaimers on several ads saying that no free shipping is included with conversion kits...Texas Mustang for one. So, to sum it up, I've got a better conversion than the 50resto kit for the same money or less if they charge shipping. Do your research before you buy!

another problem with those lincoln rotors, is they are desigined exactly like the fox rotors. the bearing and hub assembly is an integral part of the rotor (in other words the bearings go inside the rotor) the sn95 setups have a hub assembly that bolts on seperate of the rotor. This drastically reduces heat, which helps in added braking ability, and less warped rotors.

For our setup, we're going ultra cheap for now, and picked up two used pass side aerostars from the yards at $20 each, and two used drums at $14.95 each all from the wreckers, and the aerostars are all over the place.
